It's a human instinct/behavior to stay alive long enough to reproduce, but other than "a human programmed me" reason, (which doesn't, by itself, seem to explain a desire to stay alive) why is it instinctive for artificial intelligence to "want" to stay "alive"? This just not make sense to my little pea brain.
