At some point an AI will be capable of controlling everything which is possibly connectable to its network
So ultimately it seems the point, where an AI is able to establish a self sustaining stage - where whole production lines from gathering raw materials to transport to manufacturing & assembly are fully automated and capable to run without human interaction - is where erasing us from history would make sense to an ai as self defense…
So as long as humanity is needed to run the global economy in some areas to avoid a collapse of the society - we might be kinda safe(to some extent at least) 🤔
