Bad human design will give rise to Artificial Stupidity, and the humans who blindly trust them are dumber for it. Cars are a double edge sword, they run up hills... and run down people.
The scariest thing for me is they want to put this AI driving in multi-tonne payload trucks travelling over 100km/hour transporting hazardous materials. A literal cruise missile containing chemical or explosive payload that can because of a bad data decide you don't exist on the road and drive over you... or your the front door of your house is still part of the road and go straight through it.
