I think these are cool - you could probably have a huge fleet of fully electric trucks (like Tesla's Semi) and have a minimalist manned operator system in a centralized location for small situations where a human intervention is required. I understand this is bad for the truck drivers, but it should lead to lower costs for everyone. Autonomous trucks don't need sleep, never get drunk, and can run as long as you want. This is the future.
