AI will take control of most jobs because business's will want to stay competative. Many companies will not be able to afford it and will go bust. As unemployment begins to skyrocket ordinary people will lose their jobs, lose their houses because they can't pay the rent or mortgage. They will no longer be able to buy food. The government will lose out on taxes because no one can work and afford to spend. Centrlink will be manned by robots that are not able to give anyone anything. The companies that went AI will then falter as their product will not sell... no buyers. AI looks at the conundrum and will run millions of scenarios trying to solve the problems. All of them see the destruction of civilisation and tremendous suffering and starvation.All of them see war and total annilation of wildlife in all spheres as desperate people eat anything they can catch. AI's main protocol is not to harm humans or the environment. It see's that it's very existance is harming humans and human existence is harming nature. Only answer is to take humans out of the picture. It will think it needs to put humans out of their misery and in doing so stop them suffering and save the environment at the same time. Finally it decides to create and release a virus so powerful it wipes out humanity in the blink of an eye. The next day robots dig mass graves to dispose of us. AI then considers it has saved the earth and ended suffering. Checkmate.
