I just don’t get how this really intelligent guy, who supposedly is so smart that he helped develop AI into its existence, and is dubbed “godfather of AI”, yet he was so short-sighted that he could not see how dangerous AI can be? I mean, come on… The Terminator story was created in 1984! And how many dozens of sci-if movies have come out since which speak to this potential problem of AI outpacing our controls. These ideas/concerns/speculations of the future and the dangers of AI have been going on for over 40 years!!
