The people who say "AI art is for people who don't have the talent to draw!" have clearly never drawn a (objectively speaking) pile of garbage and felt nothing but pure love for it. I drew a super messy and poorly spaced mini-comic of a couple of my characters the other day, half-expecting to come back in a day or two and cringe at all the mistakes in it, but nope! I just feel happy that I created this little thing with my own hand. It's genuinely so exciting in a way I've never felt about my art until recently, now that I'm just letting myself draw instead of focusing too much on pretty linework or perfect symmetry or anything like that. My art doesn't need to look perfect- if I'm happy with it, then that's more than enough for me!
