it's really quite simple. artists spend decades learning why and how art works, wall tech Bros spend 10 minutes learning how prompts work. if you don't understand the fundamentals of art, your opinion on art probably either holds less value or is shaped as someone who consumes are but doesn't make it. AI generator tech Bros simply do not have an opinion on art that matters or is correct or backed up by any actual artistic experience. every time they open their mouth their destined to reveal more and more details about why they're opinion should be mocked and made fun of and given absolutely no time of day are credit in the field of artwork. that said, even as a professional animator myself, I don't hold it against the average everyday person who uses an image generator for fun because they aren't pretending to be an artist or claiming to be something there otherwise not and it's not necessarily their fault the image generator was made. the opinions that don't matter are those of the people who defend AI image generators as a legitimate form of artistic expression and cry about being gatekept from drawing and painting when drawing and painting has one of the lowest barriers of entries of any hobby in existence already.
