The future of AI now terrifies me after hearing this. And there’s no limit to what this tech could be used for - like deepfaking vids of innocent ppl committing crimes and the “evidence” used to frame them. Deepfakes of politicians saying things they never said or government leaders giving orders they never gave.
And in the opposite direction as well. Currently we can use video for protection - to capture crimes, thefts, etc. But in the future, if video evidence is no longer permissible in court - when a person is about to abuse or rob you, u can’t just pull out ur phone and film them for protection - they won’t be afraid cuz they can claim “the video was a deepfake”
