This is such a bad take on Tesla Vision vs Lidar adopted alternatives.. You measure accidents in the form of nominal values and not percentages from miles driven and completely neglect to disclose that those driving Waymo vehicles drive in specific metro areas with trained engineers not the typical consumer. This video will age horribly for misleading the public by making statements that delude such as "Waymo's vehicles simply see more of the real world with the additional sensors." Word of advice for The Verge, don't let someone with no credibility in incredibly advanced self-driving systems draw basic conclusions about current offerings in self-driving.
