It is promising like internet and pc, I think it will be very relevant for decades, but its still a tool, it will not take away any meaningful jobs, only 'simple' office jobs. I have used all the latest models and agents for programming, ai cannot do things on its own, there must be someone monitoring it and the person must understand the output and point out errors. Current models never have a definitive output because it is based on probability, it will always get something wrong no matter how good they can make it.
