If AI truly takes off that much, the economy and job market must adapt, and fast. I see a bubble forming (and it's already here) where the AI is taking over jobs or has the potential to in so many sectors so quickly, it's going to leave most white collar workers, and eventually even some blue collar workers, unemployed and without a reliable source of income.
Yes, some innovators and investors will get massively rich initially, but they're insulating themselves from the rest of society because after the initial boom (which we may already be in), the markets will collapse as spending goes down, when the average person can't afford to pay for the AI services. That'll be when the bubble bursts.
Unless we implement something like UBI, or make prices to use the AI so insanely cheap that anyone can afford it, people won't have the means to do 'creative and crazy things'.
