The counter to all this, is anything that can be automated, is no longer a high value task. Meaning it now can much more easily get outcompeted by other firms since there isn't anything inherently special about their workforce. It just pulls the veil off on what is already understood by most employees, especially at large lublic comoanies: their work is what is most valuable for the company, and the executives are essentially leaches on an otherwise efficient system built around them
