Couple things people need to keep in mind with this accident. First, stupid is usually self inflicted. She decided to cross without making sure it was clear. Second, pedestrians get hit by cars all the time. It's nothing new and it won't stop happening with this one. Either by accident or on purpose, car v person accidents will be a part of life with so many cars on the road; autonomous or otherwise.
