I've been entertaining the idea all week specific to Tesla's Optimus, "with the money solve for former workers" where in lieu of Corporations buying them outright, rather the Individuals buy them outright, (including former workers, (co-buy or sole w or w/o a loan)), and Tesla as the marketplace middleman who balances the hiring for Corporations and investment Pay-outs to the owners. The Corporations paying Tesla per Optimus hired, then Tesla paying Individual owners after fees. We cannot assume the corporations as buyers, will lower their prices until its too late and vast disparity exists. Thus a fail-safe needs to be implemented, and if that involves "we the people" buying the bots and corporations hiring (& not allowed to monopolize as buyers) that would solve the the economic instability that the former workers will face. Good for the people, where once purchased the money flow continues for the life of the bot. Corporations will not really add an extra gain to their company, unless a few extra hours were in place, yet they'd remain ethical. The current scary direction: Corporations monopolize via robot ownership, leaving former workers behind, lowering basic individual incomes dramatically.
