I don’t understand how people can think an AI company using images to train their model is analogous to an artist being inspired. The company is using images to develop a product.
An artist might be inspired by another’s work and use an AI model as a tool, but the model isn’t the artist and can’t be inspired.
Even if you believe an AGI could be a person, the current image generators certainly aren’t.
