I believe you should be able to copyright a style when it comes to AI. A copyright that you can't use against people, but only AI. This means that using these generators on copyrighted material for your own personal use would be perfectly fine, but it would not be beyond that. It would also mean the websites won't have to be held accountable (but they can, if laws are in place that say you can't add copyrighted material to the AI pool)
The future for AI Art is very dark and unethical. I doubt any of these issues will be addressed or solved in the future, because corporations have the power over this. The only thing that can prevent or restrict this is the government. The government usually doesn't do anything unless it becomes a big problem or they benefit from it.
That's the power of tech. There's no boundaries to it, and it's unstoppable
