Yes, if you already have the expertise, you can use it as your slave , to do the boring stuff. I'm a translator. If I have a difficult text where there are a lot of specialized terms, I run it through Chat GPT and then I edit. It saves me from the chore of looking up words in a dictionary. If I don't think a word he used is just right, I ask him to provide some synonyms, from which I choose the best. If an idiom is not to my liking, I ask it to provide more options. In the end, the result is very different than what the AI initially gave me, and it reflects the style that I want, the level of professionally polished work that my expertise is perfectly capable to produce on its own - except for the boring searches. I find it is better at technical and specialized essays, but I tend not to use it for literary texts.
