A very large part of the jobs that can be replaced by AI exist only because of regulations, e.g. book keeping. It is not bad if the people who are doing jobs that don't really contribute to human well being are rationalized so that they can do real human contributions such as taking care of elderly and children that at the moment has many times too few people. Also jobs that are created purely by regulations can be changed by regulations and so adjusted to needs. Surely there are also other jobs, like programming. But AI is only very slowly entering that space and again freeing up people to do real contributions to human living.
