Another thing I feel gets glossed over in the "waaahhh it's just like getting iNsPiReD" argument is that all art, every single piece that ever gets published is made with the implicit consent to be consumed, looked at and processed by your fellow humans. If you publish it, you know people will see it, often that IS the point of art. The same does not apply for AI image scraping the same way it doesn't apply to having your art plagiarized. People conflate art and products these days. It's like they genuinely can't tell the difference. There's a great video by pillar of garbage about this that everyone should see. It's called "better a pig than a f*scist".
