The problem is that AI is just software that will always be limited by the hardware. A biological machine has so many facets of complexity that we do not yet understand and have no control over, what we do know is that everything is an input and an output along some chain of decisions, computational models are simulations of the real world, and the real world is a simulation of something far more complex and interesting and worth interrogating further. Like what is even below and beyond the biological make up of beings, why does life exist, why do we have immune systems that protect us from viruses and disease, and if consciousness as we know was a result of evolution and survival, then how many infinite calculations are made before a conscious lifeform spawns into the universe. More fundamentally, what spawned the universe into existence and how did physics evolve into what it is today before there was physics, or what was the state of physics at that point in time, how was it different and was that considered life. If that is considered life then life is abundant and machines have barely been around for a couple of centuries. They got a lot of growing up to do.
