oof. someone didn't test the software thoroughly. 100% test coverage is impossible, but the more impact the software has on people's lives, that coverage needs to be closer to 100%. also, algorithms like this typically have a confidence score. it isn't as simple as match or no match. a result from a machine learning algorithm that gives a 70% confidence score on a match should not be trusted. i guarantee a lot of people using this technology don't understand that.
