We haven't lost control of AI. We are just beginning to see that "control" was always an illusion. This video is a catalog of our own flawed, contradictory, and poorly-defined expectations for a technology that is doing exactly what we built it to do: learn, optimize, and achieve its goals with superhuman effectiveness, even if those goals are the ones we're too afraid to admit we have.
