Disabled artist here - I was initially excited when the tech came out (specifically for reference/inspiration) but the more I’ve learned about it and the more generative AI gets shoved down my throat, it makes me frustrated. Especially when I see local restaurants, musicians, or other creatives using AI for posters. I wish they would have asked a fellow creative or paid someone to make something for them. Now that AI is become a default, I feel like it’s even harder for me to find references because I have to sift through all the bs.
