Most people aren't worried about having their computers hacked and seeing this stuff, they just think about it showing up on places like twitter, youtube, etc, where everyone can see it. The thing is, if someone hacks into your computer, these videos can be planted to look like they come from a real source like CNN, Fox News, etc., they can be planted on real channels, verified channels, reputable websites, etc. Also there are easy ways to make this believable. If they really want you to believe the fake news, they will even plant it on foreign sites, use AI to make it believable by showing people talking about it on forums, twitter, social media, etc. There's a lot you can do with AI, even make fake conversations, fake articles, and have them planted everywhere. They also can make other AI videos of people discussing the fake news to make it more believe it and plant those so you will see them. You might see something like someone flipping through a magazine and inside the magazine you will also see the fake news. Can basically be used to gaslight people, even make you look schizophrenic. More people need to be aware of the technology.
