so this isn't bad theory crafting on the subject but its already way behind the times considering how much of this sort of stuff has already happened and is the past tense. Also there won't come a time probably where there are more ai than humans because they aren't replacing each worker with a different ai, they are using singular ai to replace dozens of people and utilized by a couple of operators. The entertainment industries of games, animation, and film have already laid off an extremely significant portion of the workforce and stopped hiring any junior level roles. Its worth mentioning that the current type of ai that we have that is based off of LLM which aggregate all of the existing information they can get their hands on (this whole process is largely illegal and breaks all concepts of copyright) and they use this collective aggregate to generate output. That is how generative ai works for photos, art, and video, and this is how these chatbot style ai work like chatgpt and for programming. It recognizes and reproduces predictive patterning within the data set it has consumed. This doesn't just automatically lead to infinite growth beyond human comprehension. Its limits are actually clearly defined by the data set that it was built upon. The idea that it just magically and infinitely expands in "knowledge" beyond any human scope of understanding is a fiction and a faith held in high regard by these silicon valley tech bros that have carved out a cult like religion based upon all of this headed towards transhumanism.
