I don't want to be doomeric maybe I do, but recently a book author tried to sue meta And Llama AI because their books are getting copied and fed into AI and the courts unfortunately decided that AI training is fair use, even if whole books are getting copied.
Also I'm afraid AI is being used to build a technocratic fascist dystopia, for example in Israel the AI is trained to bomb civilians(could it be trained not to bomb civilians? sure, but nobody cares), in China it's used to monitor everyone and it's linked to the Social Credit system. And I don't even wanna think what Mush, Trump, Thiel(who already provides AI system for US intelligence agencies(Palantir) and was a huge donor in the Trump Campain) are cooking there together (whatever they are can't be good for anyone - but themselves and their corpo friends).
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, thank you very much for what you're doing here and you can't even imagine how important that work is, because everytime we cost them money, we win - even if that victory may seems small and insignificant eventually these victories do pile up.
