Put it this way. I’ve been told all my life that we would move to a paperless workplace. I don’t know about your job, but there is plenty of paper paperwork still at mine
What will differ is the freedom of obscurity will evaporate. Everything can and will be monitored and evaluated real time, flagging any discrepancies to the remaining managerial positions to deal with. Things that would require someone to sift through or watch over or observe will not be monitored by AI, and when something falls outside set parameters it will be flagged
For example, most tollways no longer have booths anymore, it’s all electronic. If one decides to speed down the tollway between two given points, that person will be fined electronically without human interaction…
But the self driving cars will drive the speed limit, coordinate traffic flow to speed travel so it will not seem like an issue to most people.
