"..for the Kenyan workers they were paid a few dollars an hour." --- This sounds awful, but she doesn't acknowledge that the average per/hour wage in Kenya is $0.45 USD. --- It would be nice to have reporters that actually could leave their world views aside and actually report. If these workers were being paid a few dollars an hour, then they were actually being paid 300% + more an hour for their work. Was it an awful job, most definitely, anyone that has done moderation work for language and content engine models knows it is god awful, but they weren't being abused economically as her tone suggests.
