Waymo’s are insanely confident navigating the horrible traffic of SF. They make split second decisions on whether or not to navigate around other cars, corners with people walking through or near cross walks.. it’s a bit unreal.
I’ve also been in a HW.4 Tesla that confidently owned turns, merging, negotiations with other cars and pedestrians.. can’t say the ride was as smooth with the human driver.
We’re definitely on the cusp of big changes in commute and just vehicle ownership in general.
