No society of which I am aware have integrated AI and robotics into its economy and culture more than China. The impact in China is that the Chinese have more time to travel, go to cafes, do Tai Chi and visit with their families.
What we can expect expect in the west from these developments is more unemployment and people unhoused. Bright side: better and more effective surveillance and more accurate targeting of the State's undesirables.
