I don't think being and "artist" is being something high and untoucheble or you need hours of traning to get "good" to me, being and artist is all about creativity, rearaging your capital city in some empire game to look cool is art, building lego is art, taking 2 tracks and making them sound like the same song is art the list goes on, i loved drawing when i was a kid, i didn't have to care if it was industry standard or something, no i just drew what i saw, like if when i sat in the back seat of my parents mercedes benz, at the height i was at at the time, the two round controls look like eyes, the gear nob looked a nose, the air con vents looked like a ear, i saw a bear, just right at that angle, or the countless things i imagine the clouds or the stains in the ceiling, creativity is also not something the "talented" have, its something we lose when we continue to be consumed by the algorithms. so dont be intimidated by people saying:" you have the draw like this." Just start. As for parents out there i dont recommend giving your kids tiktok, its addictive, but not fun, it drains energy and its gets depressing, instead, play a spotting game with them, dont get mad when they come up with something childish. At this point, you must think, wow,this guy scibbles lines on a piece of paper and calls it art, well i do study anatomy realism and all the that shit, if you want to go for that, learn it, who knows mabye halfway on the journey you develop your own artstyle, by skipping ahead with ai, you have lost an opportunity in making something new, better, happy suprises,"but, what if i just want to draw that thing only? I dont want my own style." Well, you never know what the future you wants, same goes for the people that already achieve that goal, you might change and you might grow, so take the journey, dont skip ahead.
