Most of these comments are sad! The narrow mindedness is awful! The kids aren't on the computers all day. They learn 2 hours a day online and the rest of the day is spent doing hands on projects, etc.. The educational school model in America has failed!! People are yanking their children out of these schools every day, and teachers are leaving in droves! I've homeschooled all 4 of my children for the last 10 years, and we've used AI for a lot of their "learning" time. When our oldest 2 went to the public school so they could play sports, the teachers called us and told us how incredible our children were. How intelligent and just what awesome kids they were. My daughter takes graphic design, and the teacher asked her if she'd like to help teach the class! 🤭 Our kids told us how ridiculous public school is and how boring and how easy the work is. They only took classes there because in order to play sports you have to take a class at the public school. This school is a very good model of what the future of education will look like. You don't need the teacher to transfer information. Let AI do that, but you do need them to teach other things. I'm thinking of opening up something similar. Our kids taught themselves so much, and that hasn't hindered them from doing anything. One is away in college right now. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Once a child learns the basics they can really teach themselves anythibg at anytime. We do need adults to help guide and facilitate though.
