Look at all the great paying manufacturing jobs out there… oh, they are gone. AI will indeed replace IT programmers just like automation replaced manufacturing jobs.
Oh sure, there will be some jobs left. Probably pay really well. But one or two highly skilled workers using AI will replace 10 programmers, or maybe even a 100.? What are all those other people going to do? I don’t see anything for them to move on to but government assistance, or crime.
