a while ago my art teacher told me something that really made me and a bunch if other students feel calmer about the upraise of ai:
Before cameras were invented, people would hire artists to paint family portraits and pretty much whatever the client desired. That was the only way to capture fleeting moments or visual beauty. And when cameras did become a thing, a lot of artist were worried about the same things we're worrying about right now. And yet - artists never went out of a job, we only changed what we do a little bit. People still get commissions to this day! Technological advancement so far has only opened up new doors to exploring creative expression and made way for reaching new heights.
All that to say that, at the end of all this, we'll probably be fine :)
