Hundreds of innocent Americans are murdered by law enforcement every year, and everyone is paralysed by fear of a hypothetical. 10s of thousands of people die on US roads every year - and that could easily be divided by 2, 3 or even 5 with widespread Waymo-level autonomous vehicles. You can't sue an autonomous car though. Are you really that much more concerned with money than the safety of your children?
