I hate the idea of AI art, probably because I'm a traditional artist that has just started dipping my toe into the world of digital art. Unfortunately, I think it will kill off creative jobs, in graphical design especially, but I don't think it will kill off the creation of traditional art as a thing. Whether thats creating imagery, music or writing, art will survive as long as we do. Humans have been putting pigment onto a surface for tens of thousands of years, and there will always be that impulse to create. As AI art becomes more invasive, I actually hope people will start to appreciate and yearn more for art that has a humans soul and love poured into it.
