I have no issue with using AI as a tool that makes the creative process easier like instead of having to make multiple versions of an artwork/thumbnail you can have AI create variations in the artwork at different stages and then pick the one you like as your reference thumbnail sketch. It would also be useful for making mock ups or adding details/alterations to show a customer during the early stages like the sketches and flats before the artwork is too far in that alterations become too difficult to make without ruining the final work.
