The ultimate argument is : "We won't stop because China will keep developing it". Reality is that US is building a real-life Western monster because it's afraid of the Chinese monster under the bed. Which country has been the most belligerent past 1945 ? Waging war, bombing women and children in order "bring democracy" ? Who's bullying everyone out there just because they want to be the strong kid in the playground ?
AI is this world drama being narrated by the most paranoid country in History. And I'm not talking about Americans here, but about the American so-called and deep - war oriented - state. Remember that the USA had won the WWII BEFORE they nuked Japan.
