The best way to put this is, why would we want to stop learning and let AI generate ideas for us? Why would we want to stop learning how to draw and how to be creative? Why would we give our talents to something else instead of trying to learn for ourselves? And why let someone steal something that we worked hard on and claim it as their own without giving credit to the original artist? Artists spend hours, even months, on their work to bring their ideas to life and share them with others. Imagine having that work stolen and reproduced by a computer in just a few minutes, and then the person who generated it claiming it as their own and even trying to sell it. That would be unfair because they didn't put in the hard work that the original artist did. It's understandable why people are upset at ai art and other ai stuff, not everyone wants a computer to replicate their hard work. People want to learn and create naturally, without relying on ai or anything else to do things for them. Otherwise, we'd have a society of people being lazy and not learning anything, while computers do everything for us.
