Regarding your “buy assets” comments. The value of an asset is calculated as the present value of expected future cash flows. People with no jobs = no expected future cashflows. Therefore the value of the assets would crash also over the long run. But you’re correct that the value of assets will sky rocket at first with labor cost reduction/ automation. But then it would crash.
