Yeah. Very similar to my experiences. I use Github Copilot in Pycharm for Django development, but I learned really quickly you can't ask for too much from the A.I because it will not give you good results. My best experience is just to ask for what I need, "How do I use the xyz function?", "can you generate a loop here for abc?", "I don't remember the syntax for ..." When I started using it I would ask it to do whole views with templates and the code it was producing was nonsense that took me longer to refactor than if I'd just written it myself to start with. A.I can only hold so much context so when you're dealing with large projects that have complex interactions between client browsers, web servers with ENGINX and Daphne, and postgresql and/or oracle databases the A.I is going to choke. You can't replace a full stack programmer with A.I., and if you tried the code you'll be getting will be completely unmaintainable.
