I have a suggestion for a guest… how about getting on an indigenous tribe leader from the Amazon, or Africa or even a panel of different cultures leaders of tribes who speak English (or have a translator) to ask them what brings them purpose, joy and meaning to their lives without technology. The people who they are asking why the future would look like if AI ran their jobs have never lived without ‘jobs’ etc yet there are thousands of people on Earth still living in civilisation without technology and governed by human instinct… please speak to someone like that (or at least people outside of western and technologically superior countries for some insights)
This is where truth… hope… and real humanity is found cos when I answered the question ‘what does a future where AI can do everything a human does but with human safety at the forefront’ I’d say humans will have to feel and do more of what we used to do in the past before technology…
