I think the issue will be first and foremost an economic one. The majority of graphic design will end up being cheap AI slop because that’s what people are willing to pay for. So yeah, less work for designers overall.
However, the more financially inclined businesses/brands/companies will still rely on distinct human vision/creativity to produce something original for them. The non-AI human touch will become a high value sub-aesthetic.
Can designers produce new graphic aesthetics that AI cannot? If so, people will pay a premium for that service.
