Technological advances have throughout history made tons of mundane jobs obsolete. But it has still benefited society. I don’t think anybody wants to go back to a time where there was no assembly lines and instead everything was done manually, even if it would mean more people in the factories. Or go back to a time where sowing and reaping was only done by humans and not machines. Maybe there will come a breaking point where too much automation will lead to negative impacts, but so far, history certainly suggests that we should embrace technology and not be afraid of it.
