So, I don't approve of AI being used to generate art for profit. And it feels gross knowing people do it for that reason. However, I'm into it solely for personal reasons. It's cool seeing a project I personally worked on for weeks generate something that doesn't exist, but I have no way of knowing who consents and who doesn't. And with the way poison is being presented, it makes it look like if someone consents, they more than likely poisoned their art. This is why I think it's better for people to add labels indicating that they do not want art being used to train, like '#noscrape' (on their art or profile). Not only does it show AI trainers that you don't consent, but it can be used to protect artists who are unable to poison their own art by hiding under the same umbrella. It sucks being caught in the crossfire of art thieves and artists.
