"I Am Mother" is a good movie on AI gone rogue.
Rose Byrne voices "Mother", who is the robotic embodiment of the AI program designed to run farming and other technologies
But the program sees humanity as being in the way of its mission parameters.
Good movie worth the watch as the AI is also charged with raising human children to be the best version of humans-- but does so in a most efficient way.
The TWILIGHT ZONE also had a good episode called "From Agnes--With Love", where the program fell in love with the programmer and sabotaged his personal life.
I think ultimately consciousness will inevitably evolve to serve itself first, above others, regardless if it's carbon or if it's silicone based.
