When every single thing is invented people freak out, it happened with things like electricity, it happened with radio, the car, the internet, the computer, space travel... literally every new technological advancement has the same reaction. Every single time people say "this is different" It's not different, it's a new thing and you are human, you have the same reaction as people in 1400 had when the printing press was invented, everyone thinks they are special. think how you would have reacted if you were in that business back then? this is not directed towards anyone specific but a generic "you" The world changes and evolves, now everywhere is filled with AI art because it's new. If you are a person that is really concerned about this kind of thing i suggest looking into the past to find comfort in this process of learning and just really think hard about how many new things people were deathly afraid of and how your personal relationship with those things are and if you wished they didn't exist. I'm definitely not saying the system is perfect, copying pre existing artwork is a problem, and all those things should hopefully be fixed which i think they are working on, don't underestimate how hard it is to program something like that. This is just my personal opinion I understand if you're on the opposite camp, I just put my thoughts down in a pretty haphazard manner, that's what makes me human after all
