Probably not a popular position among the progressives, but we might just be stepping on the same rake once again. The fear of technology "killing jobs" is nothing new, whereas it is the technological progress that has raised our living standards. Should we ditch excavators? Just imagine how many shovel-wielding jobs we could create! The more tasks robots would do for humans, the more leisure time we could expect. The only "nuance" is that the society must have a collective control of the economy - but that is most likely a task for the future generations.
