Nobody actually thinks it's more accessible. They mean that making *high quality* art is more accessible with AI. As in "I don't have to spend thousands of hours getting good at drawing to make a pretty image. I can just write a prompt". Which is, of course, not what accessibility means. You can't complain that the Olympics are inaccessible because you don't want to have to train your whole life at a sport to get really good at it.
